Donations Coming In
Tomorrow morning at 8:10 Jesse will be live on CFCW… we expect that to be a big boost in getting the donations to start coming in. We’ve had money donations from the JOY group at Gospel Center and Rick’s grill in Sherwood Park… also from Hyundai in the West End…
1st Donations
Besides for it being a special day, Remembrance Day, where I can honor my grand-pa Emile Dumas who is now 91, CTV News at noon went really well. About an hour after we got home… a couple drove up with 2 bags of donations….our first ones so far this year……

I was busy packing some bags and my husband came in with the last load from CFCW. My bin outside was FULL with back packs already filled to the brim with all the items. These were from the teams at the Drillers Soccer club. Also some from U19 Belle ringette team…

don’t count your chickens before they hatch
We were told we’d get 100 back packs from London Drugs at 5.00 each but they only had 30.:(… so altogether we only have 88 bags so far. Donations have been very slow in coming but we know they will come in towards the end. We need more back packs…
Ric’s Grill Sherwood Park
Ric’s Grill in Sherwood Park is our newest Sponsor. Thanks Randy Staples in Terra Losa gave us our brochures at half price and sold us 37 back packs at $5.00 each thanks to Live to Dye Salon for suggesting them. Now only 250 more hmy: We’re confident….:)

60 + scarves
Thanks to a sweetheart of a neighbour, we now have over 60 scarves. She’s been crocheting and knitting up a storm. Several of the neighbours helped supply the wool. Thanks everyone.
