MOST NEEDED ITEMS 2018 Our campaign is growing support but there are
Wow what an exciting evening. The weather was beautiful compared to a few days ago. The Jasper Place Health & Wellness Center was absolutely packed. We thought we’d loaded too many bags on the trucks but no way…. we only left 25 behind for the people who couldn’t make it tonight. So altogether we dropped off 210 bags there. Everyone was so thankful with their bags and gladly let us take some pictures.
We wil be deciding where the other 73 bags will go in the next few days.
Now we are going to have a very restful sleep… although I am kind of sad that it is over already. I just don’t know where the time flew this year… it seems like we started Hope in a Bag for year 4 … just a couple of days ago and now it’s done. I guess time flies when we’re having fun. It was almost 2 months ago we started so I guess the 2 months flew.
It was in the last 10 days though that we really saw things come in. We didn’t think we would make it to 150 at one point and here we surpassed our last year’s goal AGAIN. Thank you Lord and thank you to all the generous people and companies who contributed to make this the 4th successful year in a row.
I’ll get back for a final blog after the remainder of the bags get delivered.
I’ll also get Jesse to say his final words.
Good night everyone
