SUMMER SURPRISE
SUMMER SURPRISE. “Corpus Christi School`s Leadership Group” collected bottles all school year
The days have grown cold and the sun sets earlier each day. This is the season where our need to help Edmonton’s homeless and less fortunate becomes even more important. The team working behind the scenes at Bag of Hope has been running strong for a month or more already. We are reconnecting with sponsors and coordinating our media releases. We’ve had a good start, but there is so much more to do.
There are some changes to our drop off locations this year. We strive to reach as many areas as we can throughout the city of Edmonton; and with CFCW accepting donations at both locations again this year, we are able to reach Camrose. Thanks to continued support from Adesa, Bag of Hope has easy access for those in Leduc and Nisku. We are very appreciative of all of our Sponsors and that is why we feature them proudly on every page of our website.
In other exciting news, we have added to option to donate through Paypal. We hope that this addition will assist those who wish to donate but are unable to get to our drop of locations.Helping the homeless in Edmonton should not be difficult. Making a difference is easy and we want to make it as simple as possible for everyone who wants to help.Donated items are greatly appreciated and all cash raised goes directly into purchasing the items that we don’t have enough of. Our goal is to fill each bag we give out as full as we can, with every item on the list.
Remember, even if your situation prevents you from donating directly, you can make a big difference by helping us spread the word. Share our stories and our mission on Facebook.com/bagofhope, join our page to receive regular updates. Follow us on Twitter.com/abagofhope and ReTweet to help spread our message further. We are grateful for every person who helps us reach our goals and give a Bag of Hope to help Edmonton’s homeless.
